These place was absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious.Would rent again...
On the flip side.. Was very limited in kitchen appliances, gadgets and even pans. Was not fully stocked. No beach towels
One very odd thing was that there is a full bathroom that is located in the kitchen. you have to go in the kitchen to go to the bathroom downstairs.

Other than that this was beauitful.

We had the most wonderful time. We use to rent this beach house when we first started our Girls Week15 years ago. It’s been remodeled and it’s wonderful. We only wish we could return next year. But the rent will double.out of our budget.thanks for the memories.

Craving the Old World charm of Italy? Villa on the Strand will transport your family across the ocean -without needing a passport! The moment you pull up to this charming Mediterranean home, you are sure to feel relaxed. Located right on the sand in the quaint beachside community of Silver Strand, this home boasts 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house features original wood flooring, a hand-carved banister, original fixtures and is adorned with antiques and photos of yesteryear. Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms – there is a nautical themed room with a bunk bed - great for the kids, a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed with seaside views just perfect for Grandma and a third bedroom with another queen size bed. A remodeled full bathroom is located downstairs next to the freshly updated kitchen. There is a Beautiful bay window that offers picturesque sunset views while enjoying a meal at the large dining table. Upstairs features two main bedrooms-each has their own en-suite bathrooms. Both are appointed with fireplaces that have hand-painted Italian tiles which are used for decoration only. This first bedroom features a king size bed and there is a viewing deck to see the dolphins play as the surfers catch waves. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Three new updated bathrooms and brand new remodeled kitchen! Recent guest review Winter Escape We have stayed at the "Villa on the Strand” property for 20 years and enjoy the beach experience every time. This year we were amazed at all of the updates: 3 brand new bathrooms with big showers, a completely remodeled modern kitchen, a new king bed in the master, a big screen TV, and a handy, super clean laundry room with washer and dryer. We look forward to many more February trips to the Villa at Silver Strand to escape the cold Colorado winters! *Many of our homes have various types of internet & cable access provided by various third parties. Excellent house, 3-4 houses from the beach. Very easy walking access. Well appointed and comfortable. My wife and I were there with our 2 kids who are 8 and 10, as well as my mother who's a senior. The view from window is from a little sliver of the house, but it's there. Otherwise you're looking at other houses and the street, but it's totally fine and nice. Really perfect, large house with lots of room inside and out. Very clean and solid management. We'd come here again.

Lovely home, very clean, and a fantastic location! Gorgeous. We arrived so excited for our week stay, long days at the beach, hot tub at night, grilling, and the rest. The property managers are negligent in checking to see if all items are working. The hot tub did not work at all, the gas grill was filthy and out of gas, one of the main TV's did not work, and thank goodness we brought our towels as there they were threadbare and barely enough to go around. I feel for the owners, and the place was spotless and beautifully done up and no doubt they expect the management company to ensure the house was ready for guests. To stay places is not inexpensive and you pay for all items to be functioning.

We had Wonderful time at this luxurious spacious home. The upstairs area had great views of the ocean and has 2 living rooms and great kitchen.
All bedrooms were downstairs and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on going again.

Stay near the ocean in this lovely beach house! Take in the amazing beach and whitewater views from the comfort of your own home. Welcome to your dream vacation home located ideally in Mandalay Shores, Oxnard. The home is designed and decorated in a coastal style and is located on a large lot with a 3-car garage which leaves plenty of parking for your guests. Home is just steps from the sand and offers spectacular views of the ocean and beach from your living room! The living room offers a large wraparound sofa with flat screen television, wet bar, fireplace, and additional day bed and chairs perfect for hosting families and friends and plenty of seating to enjoy the views. There are four different decks with patio furniture to relax on and take in the fresh ocean breeze. Also on this floor is your kitchen with all of the appliances you'll need, half bath, and formal dining and family room. The family room offers comfortable couch with fireplace and flat screen television. The two upstairs TVs have Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Spectrum cable. On the first floor are your two guest bedrooms, guest bathroom, master bedroom, and laundry area. Master suite includes oversized tub, king size bed, fireplace, double vanity sinks with large walk-in shower and easy access to backyard from master bedroom. Each bedroom has a flat screen television with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Backyard offers large table and chairs, private fire pit, gas grill, heated spa, and heated outdoor shower! There is also a printer/scanner available for guest to use. Other amenities include boogie boards, skim boards, beach chairs, umbrella, and toys to use at your convenience. Lovely home, very clean, and a fantastic location! Gorgeous. We arrived so excited for our week stay, long days at the beach, hot tub at night, grilling, and the rest. The property managers are negligent in checking to see if all items are working. The hot tub did not work at all, the gas grill was filthy and out of gas, one of the main TV's did not work, and thank goodness we brought our towels as there they were threadbare and barely enough to go around. I feel for the owners, and the place was spotless and beautifully done up and no doubt they expect the management company to ensure the house was ready for guests. To stay places is not inexpensive and you pay for all items to be functioning.

Excellent house, 3-4 houses from the beach. Very easy walking access. Well appointed and comfortable. My wife and I were there with our 2 kids who are 8 and 10, as well as my mother who's a senior. The view from window is from a little sliver of the house, but it's there. Otherwise you're looking at other houses and the street, but it's totally fine and nice. Really perfect, large house with lots of room inside and out. Very clean and solid management. We'd come here again.

Great house. Lots of sleeping areas and it felt very spacious. The backyard was really great. The fireplace, BBQ all work very well. It was a little too cold to hang out though which was disappointing. Lots of toys in the garage, boogie boards, beach chairs, wagon to cart your stuff to the beach, cooler but bikes were not available. Loved the location and very easy to access the beach. I would definitely go back again.

The house is warm and welcoming and has everything we could have needed- tons of towels, toiletries and even a Keurig! We bought food and were able to cook in the kitchen that had all the appliances we needed. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit and made s'mores. The TV and sound system were great too and we enjoyed several movies and even some games that were at the house as well. Sunday was beach day and we used the coolers provided in the garage to carry our gear and food and drinks for our day at the beach. Even managed to get a few games of volleyball in! The most amazing trip ever for our daughter's special birthday treat. Plenty of room for everyone and everything worked well and we had absolutely no problems.

This home is a great place to go for our vacation. The home is a great size with lots of room to spread out. The yard was redone with a wonderful fire pit to spend the evenings and wonderful table and bbq.
The house is located about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach.
We missed the "view of the ocean" from this house and that is because there is a new house being built on the beach and it blocks our view.

The "hang out" room downstairs worked well for the grandkids to play their X-Box (we brought ours) while my son used the table space to connect with his office. The backyard was a huge asset for us -- the kids could play in the sand area while adults enjoyed the large fit pit area (once we figured out the outdoor lighting system). We were just steps away from the crowdless beach and a short walk/bikeride from the park with playground. A goal of this get away was to visit the Channel Islands. We spent one day on Anacapa Island and another day on Santa Cruz Island. Each island was a unique experience, and the grandkids (ages 5 and 6) had no problems with the hiking. My family has previously rented another property in the area; Beachy Keen is our new favorite! One alert ... a new property is being constructed which, when completed, will sadly block the limited view from Beachy Keen of Santa Cruz Island.

This was our third year in this large and comfortable home. We love how close it is to the beach and the newly remodeled yard was a great gathering place. We were very happy with this vacation home. We could see the beach, and the walk to the beach was so easy. The house was nice, roomy and comfortable. Found a shower head with hot water in the backyard, which made cleaning the kids after beach so much easier. The only disappointment was that the washer was broken, and we were not notified until after we were on the way there. They told us it had been down for a while, they were trying to fix it for a while without success. Of course we just had to pile up our dirty laudry until we came home. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Everything was perfect. The house is big and spacious and had everything we needed to celebrate our daughters birthday. We spent a lot of time on the outside patio in front of the fire, and the beach is so close! Just a short walk! The area is very quiet and peaceful. Accessing the property at check in was very easy, and we enjoyed all the beach toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs in the garage. Also parking was not an issue. We are definitely planning on staying here again.

I love this house. It is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Only one short block to a lovely beach. Plenty of parking, friendly neighbors, short drive to markets and restaurants. There’s a nice backyard with outdoor furniture - the kids ate dinner outside every night. This was our second year and we will definitely be back.

Great house. Lots of sleeping areas and it felt very spacious. The backyard was really great. The fireplace, BBQ all work very well. It was a little too cold to hang out though which was disappointing. Lots of toys in the garage, boogie boards, beach chairs, wagon to cart your stuff to the beach, cooler but bikes were not available. Loved the location and very easy to access the beach. I would definitely go back again.

The house is warm and welcoming and has everything we could have needed- tons of towels, toiletries and even a Keurig! We bought food and were able to cook in the kitchen that had all the appliances we needed. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit and made s'mores. The TV and sound system were great too and we enjoyed several movies and even some games that were at the house as well. Sunday was beach day and we used the coolers provided in the garage to carry our gear and food and drinks for our day at the beach. Even managed to get a few games of volleyball in! The most amazing trip ever for our daughter's special birthday treat. Plenty of room for everyone and everything worked well and we had absolutely no problems.

This home is a great place to go for our vacation. The home is a great size with lots of room to spread out. The yard was redone with a wonderful fire pit to spend the evenings and wonderful table and bbq.
The house is located about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach.
We missed the "view of the ocean" from this house and that is because there is a new house being built on the beach and it blocks our view.

Great location, beautiful outdoor space. Common space is open and bright. Plenty of towels, sheets, and beach supplies. But for the price it needs to be better maintained. Broken screens, rickety dining room chairs, broken blinds, stained carpet, filthy outdoor BBQ, some outlets and light bulbs not working. If these repairs were made it would be a much better experience and then I would recommend.

We stayed at this home for about 10 days due to a film production project at our home. This home is two streets away from the beach. It has nice curb appeal. It has three true bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The interior needs to be completely updated including furnishings. Unfortunately there was a home renovation/construction going on directly across the street. Construction ran every day from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm including weekends, so we couldn't enjoy the back yard, and couldn't have the windows open.

Hollywood Beach Manor was an ideal location for our family reunion. We, being ready to try something different from a cruise, found this to be an ideal option. We enjoyed a different brand of quality time together staying in a spacious beach house than a cruise, in some ways, offers.

We had family members ranging in age from 4 years old to 74. Sleeping configuration was ideal for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed the gourmet in us to create delicious meals for all four days of our stay. The dining area was fairly formal, roomy and inviting.

The view just east of us from the living area and master suite gave a picturesque view of the marina with nautical beauty, while the warm sandy beach was just west of the manor, a short walk away. We found enjoyment outdoors walking on the warm sand down to the shoreline, the kids engaging in sand and water play, along with a perfect setting for a nap by the water. There was an ebb and flow of waves inviting play. Beach towels were provided.
There were very few people on the beach allowing our family plenty of privacy .

The neighborhood was charming. Some original one story beach houses remain, as we learned about Hollywood stars like Clark Gable and James Stewart being original visitors to Hollywood Beach. People were friendly that we encountered on our neighborhood walks.


We enjoyed the provided games, especially "3 Man Chess." During the day, some of us ventured toward Santa Barbara, other into Ventura. We found delicious fish and chips not far from us for take out, along with yummy doughnuts. Food markets were within manageable distance as well as a Costco.

The property management company was responsive and professional. The manor was pristine and the ambiance inviting. The master suite was private with its own private stairway and was lockable from other sleeping areas on the third story.

Great views .. spacious rooms, good location .. everything you need for a large family .. this listing does advertise a hot tub, but it looks like they’re renovating the roof, so the cables, etc. were there sticking out the roof, but no hot tub. Otherwise the place is great!

We had a. Ice stay at the home. It accommodated our group nicely. It’s very open and spacious and had a nice view of the marina and rooftop view of ocean. Kitchen was great and could use a couple more items. We purchased a BBQ set of tongs and a spatula for flipping :) Remax was quick to address any concerns and checking out was super easy.

This property was gorgeous, 3 stores and decorated beautifully. The beds were new with all new bedding and all the furniture and fixtures were luxury. Its literally 2 houses from the beach and across the street from the marina. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching boats, we also went to the farmers market on Sunday AM. The house has a jacuzzi upstairs on the rooftop as well. We would love to stay here again!

Vacation with 4 couples no children. The house was clean, bright with natural light, and spacious layout (master bath felt cavernous - great water pressure in the shower). Kitchen was well appointed, though short on wine glasses and coffee cups. Appliances are top notch Wolf gas range, dishwasher and fridge adequate. Beds were comfortable with nice linens (natural fiber, not synthetic) and sturdy (I abhor beds that wobble or squeak). Everything was in working condition.
Location was ideal! Close to beach, farmers market and restaurants - all a walkable distance. Felt private though we were close to everything.

We spent the most pleasurable time at this spacious well equiped home. beds were comfortalbe the house has so many areas to enjoy together or for privacy. Beautiful location with view of the marina. very close to the beach and glorious sunsets from the balcony!!

Stayed here to attend a wedding. Location and home were beautiful. Hot tub and fireplace were not working. Quick response from property management. Wasn’t able to be repaired while we were there. Would definitely stay there again if in that area.

This house was perfect for our family of 10. Excellent location to both marina and the beach. The view from the roof is spectacular. I would be nice if there was an umbrella on the roof. The house was really clean and well stocked, a gorgeous kitchen and bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay very much. Needs a microwave in the kitchen is only suggestion.

Beautiful and spacious house, only one block from the beach. We had 4 adults and 5 small children in the house, and we were very comfortable. The house is well stocked with cookware and beach equipment. I would definitely stay there again.

Our experience at this vacation rental exceeded our expectations. Being locals in the area near the location of Hollywood Beach we wanted to do a "stay-cation" in our already beautiful city as we had family come from out of state we just wanted a nice spacious house close by to the beach. The house layout was perfect for a multi family stay with different aged kids. There was plenty to do, great area, great neighbors. Ended each night on the rooftop deck watching the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend, we just wished we would have booked a longer stay.

We took the house so we could have some time with our daughter and son in law-and their 3 year old triplets! We all had a great time. The three levels in the house let the grandparents stay downstairs and the young family up top, with the great open space living-dining-kitchen middle floor our common ground. And the trips loved their first time in a spa!

Hollywood Beach Manor was an ideal location for our family reunion. We, being ready to try something different from a cruise, found this to be an ideal option. We enjoyed a different brand of quality time together staying in a spacious beach house than a cruise, in some ways, offers.

We had family members ranging in age from 4 years old to 74. Sleeping configuration was ideal for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed the gourmet in us to create delicious meals for all four days of our stay. The dining area was fairly formal, roomy and inviting.

The view just east of us from the living area and master suite gave a picturesque view of the marina with nautical beauty, while the warm sandy beach was just west of the manor, a short walk away. We found enjoyment outdoors walking on the warm sand down to the shoreline, the kids engaging in sand and water play, along with a perfect setting for a nap by the water. There was an ebb and flow of waves inviting play. Beach towels were provided.
There were very few people on the beach allowing our family plenty of privacy .

The neighborhood was charming. Some original one story beach houses remain, as we learned about Hollywood stars like Clark Gable and James Stewart being original visitors to Hollywood Beach. People were friendly that we encountered on our neighborhood walks.


We enjoyed the provided games, especially "3 Man Chess." During the day, some of us ventured toward Santa Barbara, other into Ventura. We found delicious fish and chips not far from us for take out, along with yummy doughnuts. Food markets were within manageable distance as well as a Costco.

The property management company was responsive and professional. The manor was pristine and the ambiance inviting. The master suite was private with its own private stairway and was lockable from other sleeping areas on the third story.

Great views .. spacious rooms, good location .. everything you need for a large family .. this listing does advertise a hot tub, but it looks like they’re renovating the roof, so the cables, etc. were there sticking out the roof, but no hot tub. Otherwise the place is great!

This is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever stayed in. With multiple living room areas to relax in, our family was able to spread out and truly enjoy the beach life. We took advantage of walking to the beach and around the harbor. The views from this home are amazing!

Stayed here to attend a wedding. Location and home were beautiful. Hot tub and fireplace were not working. Quick response from property management. Wasn’t able to be repaired while we were there. Would definitely stay there again if in that area.

Vacation with 4 couples no children. The house was clean, bright with natural light, and spacious layout (master bath felt cavernous - great water pressure in the shower). Kitchen was well appointed, though short on wine glasses and coffee cups. Appliances are top notch Wolf gas range, dishwasher and fridge adequate. Beds were comfortable with nice linens (natural fiber, not synthetic) and sturdy (I abhor beds that wobble or squeak). Everything was in working condition.
Location was ideal! Close to beach, farmers market and restaurants - all a walkable distance. Felt private though we were close to everything.

This property was gorgeous, 3 stores and decorated beautifully. The beds were new with all new bedding and all the furniture and fixtures were luxury. Its literally 2 houses from the beach and across the street from the marina. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching boats, we also went to the farmers market on Sunday AM. The house has a jacuzzi upstairs on the rooftop as well. We would love to stay here again!

We had a. Ice stay at the home. It accommodated our group nicely. It’s very open and spacious and had a nice view of the marina and rooftop view of ocean. Kitchen was great and could use a couple more items. We purchased a BBQ set of tongs and a spatula for flipping :) Remax was quick to address any concerns and checking out was super easy.

I'd first like to be clear: the house was in good condition, the location was great and the amenities provided were lovely (though we did not stay in the house this review is listed on).

Apart from minimal facilities-based complaints, small things like loose door handles, the house itself was great. The problem came when, on the last morning of our stay (nearly a day before we were supposed to check out), a Remax representative came to our door informing us that we were in the wrong house and needed to move immediately. After quite a bit of back-and-forth, we discovered that in fact Remax had sent us the wrong address and, while we were in the wrong house, the representative admitted it was 100% Remax's fault.

They apparently had switched up some emails and had a new booking coming into the house we were currently staying in (to be clear, the one they had emailed us the lockbox code for), and requested that we move out as quickly as possible in order to resolve their double-booking. Why that was our responsibility and not Remax's, I do not know.

In Remax's defense, they were subsequently able to arrange the cleaners so that we did not actually need to leave, but we spent the better part of an hour convinced that we had to be out within two hours and had begun to pack accordingly. We checked out an hour before our assigned time as a courtesy to the rental company and asked for compensation in exchange for the fact that the house we stayed in had two fewer bathrooms and was missing the spa. After multiple conversations, it became clear that Remax – particularly the manager – had no interest in actually fixing the mistake and instead focused on leveling accusations that we did not deserve further compensation because we could have called and asked about the inconsistencies, and at one point actively accused me of trying to "milk" them.

In short, though the property was lovely, I'm not confident it's worth the headache

This is a large home with plenty of space for the family to move around. The location is great. Very close to the beach and nice view of the marina. It was very clean. However there were quite a few weird/ annoying things about the house. 1) the dishwasher soap trap is broken, so it won’t close 2) the toaster doesn’t actually toast it only gets warm 3) the house is meant for a large family gathering, yet there is pretty limited large pans/ serving ware for cooking and serving 4) the windows in one of the bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom don’t have curtains. The bathroom window can be seen into from the neighbors house and there is a walkway right behind the downstairs bedroom windows that someone could see through 5) the jacuzzi cover doesn’t have all of the straps to attach to the hot tub and the cover kept blowing off.

Our experience at this vacation rental exceeded our expectations. Being locals in the area near the location of Hollywood Beach we wanted to do a "stay-cation" in our already beautiful city as we had family come from out of state we just wanted a nice spacious house close by to the beach. The house layout was perfect for a multi family stay with different aged kids. There was plenty to do, great area, great neighbors. Ended each night on the rooftop deck watching the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend, we just wished we would have booked a longer stay.

One of our favorite rentals in the Lanes so far. Location was perfect for us with Marina Park across the street (I have 2 little dogs) and it’s the exact area of the beach we go to for boogie boarding all year long. Awesome outdoor shower with hot water, privacy, and good drainage. We liked the interior space a lot. Management person was responsive and helpful. Backyard was nice and fully fenced in.
On the down side, this house needs a soft water system big time. When we arrived, the dishwasher itself was caked with grimy scum, soap, and stains. Same with all the glasses, dishes, and silverware in the house. Huge disappointment and hassle. There was a softener product stashed under kitchen sink behind all the other products. At the very minimum, it should have been brought to the renter’s explicit attention to use this stuff. We had to LITERALLY rewash every single dish, cup, glass, and all the silver ware. The rest of the house was clean and the beds were amazing.
I would definitely rent this place again as my first choice!
Aside from the hard-water issue, our stay was fabulous.

I have no complaints about this stay as it is my second stay.
Communication was is on point, house was clean and stocked, (although an ice maker in the huge refig would be nice for beach days :-) love the kids activities, the park across the street- and most important the walk to the beach is all worth it! Feeling safe to allow your kids to walk solo to the beach is a great feeling. Check out beach yoga on S/T/TH at 9am by the 'school jetty' you will be a different person!

We absolutely loved the location of this home. It is on the quieter, southern end of Ventura, directly across from Marina Park and 7 houses from the beach! A beautiful walk up the beach to the pier and easy access to amazing bike trails! The home was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals at home (bring your own seasonings) and the bed in the master bedroom was incredible. I don't know if it was the cool ocean breeze or the bedding, but we slept like babies! Very highly recommended and we'll be back again!

Everything you need is at this house. Perfect location, cleanliness, dog friendly, amazing backyard bonus dog door. I can’t say good enough things about our family vacation. Absolutely perfect! I tried to extend our stay lol. Parking was such a bonus, two cars fit great. At one point all 3 of my kids stayed with me and the one bathroom was never an issue, my son loved the shower outside it has hot & cold water! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The Remax team was the best, especially Courtney ❤️ Thank you! Perfect location, great neighborhood, very dog friendly. We will definitely be back. Excellent! The only downside is the property is across from a park that gets very busy on the weekends. We knew this going in so it was no surprise for us. My only suggestion is that the staff should use unscented laundry detergent for the sheets and towels. I am very allergic to perfumes.

Welcome home to Ventura's "After Dune Delight" a beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom plus 1 bathroom home located in an incredibly desirable spot! Right across the street from Marina Park AND the Beach!! Upon entering the home you will find the living room with two plush couches and a flat-screen TV, and a dinner table that seats 4. The living room offers exquisite views of the wonderfully groomed Marina Park and the beach. To the right is the beautifully remodeled kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and access to the backyard. To the rear of the home, you will find the bedrooms. The master bedroom features a King sized bed, the second bedroom features a Queen sized bed, and the third bedroom features a Trundle Bed with two twin mattresses. This entire home has been remodeled and is like NEW!!! The backyard is incredibly spacious, with plenty of patio furniture, a BBQ, and a firepit to enjoy the beautiful beach weather and lifestyle! One of our favorite rentals in the Lanes so far. Location was perfect for us with Marina Park across the street (I have 2 little dogs) and it’s the exact area of the beach we go to for boogie boarding all year long. Awesome outdoor shower with hot water, privacy, and good drainage. We liked the interior space a lot. Management person was responsive and helpful. Backyard was nice and fully fenced in.
On the down side, this house needs a soft water system big time. When we arrived, the dishwasher itself was caked with grimy scum, soap, and stains. Same with all the glasses, dishes, and silverware in the house. Huge disappointment and hassle. There was a softener product stashed under kitchen sink behind all the other products. At the very minimum, it should have been brought to the renter’s explicit attention to use this stuff. We had to LITERALLY rewash every single dish, cup, glass, and all the silver ware. The rest of the house was clean and the beds were amazing.
I would definitely rent this place again as my first choice!
Aside from the hard-water issue, our stay was fabulous.

I have no complaints about this stay as it is my second stay.
Communication was is on point, house was clean and stocked, (although an ice maker in the huge refig would be nice for beach days :-) love the kids activities, the park across the street- and most important the walk to the beach is all worth it! Feeling safe to allow your kids to walk solo to the beach is a great feeling. Check out beach yoga on S/T/TH at 9am by the 'school jetty' you will be a different person!

alarm clock went off at 6 am on saturday in 3rd bedroom why?

House was beautiful and so close to the beach! Lots of windows to get that ocean breeze flowing through and a well stocked kitchen with all the essentials to cook.

Everything you need is at this house. Perfect location, cleanliness, dog friendly, amazing backyard bonus dog door. I can’t say good enough things about our family vacation. Absolutely perfect! I tried to extend our stay lol. Parking was such a bonus, two cars fit great. At one point all 3 of my kids stayed with me and the one bathroom was never an issue, my son loved the shower outside it has hot & cold water! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The Remax team was the best, especially Courtney ❤️ Thank you! Perfect location, great neighborhood, very dog friendly. We will definitely be back. The only negative thing was the latch to the backyard was a bit difficult and the freezer door handle was broken, definitely not a deal breaker! Thank you

We absolutely loved the location of this home. It is on the quieter, southern end of Ventura, directly across from Marina Park and 7 houses from the beach! A beautiful walk up the beach to the pier and easy access to amazing bike trails! The home was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals at home (bring your own seasonings) and the bed in the master bedroom was incredible. I don't know if it was the cool ocean breeze or the bedding, but we slept like babies! Very highly recommended and we'll be back again!

What a beautiful home in a perfect location! We didn’t have hot water in the master bathroom shower but we used the other shower so all good!

The home was modern, clean, and had spectacular water views out all windows and had extensive dock and patios with plenty of comfy places to rest and unwind.
Everything we needed was provided. They even have Keurig for you. Love the use of kayaks and paddle boards. Would go back again anytime. Can’t thank the homeowners enough for making it available to us.

(Note: unclear whether fire alarm functioning. Appeared to be unattached. Everything else was in working order.)

This was a fantastic home! It is right on the corner of the main canal & its was fun to watch everyone boat & kayak while we had appetizers on the deck in the afternoon. The fire pit was wonderful to sit around as we watched the sunset. They had 3 kayaks and we had a great time paddling to different areas of the harbor moving & afternoon. You can even rent an electric boat at the harbor. We would highly recommend this home!

This was a fantastic home! It is right on the corner of the main canal & its was fun to watch everyone boat & kayak while we had appetizers on the deck in the afternoon. The fire pit was wonderful to sit around as we watched the sunset. They had 3 kayaks and we had a great time paddling to different areas of the harbor moving & afternoon. You can even rent an electric boat at the harbor. We would highly recommend this home!

This house is so pretty, comfortable and clean. The beach view was unbeatable. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out together, but plenty of room for people to get some down-time. We got a lot of use out of the cool garage chess board and the air hockey/ping pong table! Lovely setup for school-age kids. Nice touches some rentals forget like plenty of fans, extra blankets, and enough cookware and glassware for an actual group! We felt extremely welcome here!

My family and I stayed in this lovely home right on Hollywood Beach. The beach was huge and wide and we had great views from the home. The home was very clean and check in was easy. Our teen aged boys especially enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. The kitchen was well equipped to cook in. Please note that an id must be provided electronically before check in to reserve this home.

Beautiful, renovated, well-decorated, and clean beach house, with the best location right on the sand at the end of a cul-de-sac. We were beyond happy with this rental and it was perfect for our 2 families. Any small issues were immediately resolved by the management company, who was quick to respond via text/phone call and always very friendly. This house was very well stocked and well maintained and we look forward to another vacation here in the future! Thank you to the home owners for allowing us to enjoy this home and beach vacation, and to the management company for making sure we had a seamless and comfortable stay.

I used to live in Oxnard for about 9 months so I already knew the natural beauty of the area.

This house is stunning, and the large couch shown in the picture is perfect to hang out with your entire family and friends

The kitchen table (also shown) accommodates a ton of people and there was so much fun we had eating and drinking as we heard the waves crashing and smelled the ocean air coming in from the balcony

We were 8 friends looking for the perfect spot to retreat from life for a weekend of fun, laughter, and relaxation- Beauty and the Beach was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of space to lay around and talk, it was glorious to be on the beach, beds were comfy, kitchen well-stocked.

We can’t say enough about this beautiful home. My family spent our spring break there and it did not disappoint. Fully equipped home with all the necessary amenities & some great extras. We are repeat guests to this beautiful home and love the ocean front location. The amenities made this our home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen, bikes, and games for all ages. Our only suggestion would be to repair the two downstairs sliding door vertical blinds for guests wanting to sleep in.

The house is in a great location and comes pretty well appointed new owners/renters that have a real interest in satisfying The customers Enjoy this clip mobile perfume the fact that many items were labeled and there was a multitude of beach towels ! Had some problems with the air conditioner not working all week but they did send a repair man twice and then the owner offered a partial refund Beds were very comfortable and the accommodations were quite nice. The owners are very reasonable and nice people that seem to actually care about your experience

This is a beautiful, modern, peaceful, quiet get-away. The pictures depict exactly how the house looks. It was very clean upon arrival. There were minor issues in terms of the general condition - slider downstairs very difficult to open; master bath sink backs-up; BBQ not clean and/or needs replacing. This was a wonderful property whose location really can't be beat. We basically checked in and never left! We had everything we could possibly need and enjoyed a very relaxing family getaway spending endless hours playing in the surf and sand. We wrapped up our day by lounging on the deck and watching the gorgeous sunset.

Great location and spacious home. Amenities such as bikes, chairs and beach toys were excellent. Bath towels and beach towels were not acceptable in quantity and condition. Master shower is stained and dirty and the drain backed up during the shower making it unusable during the stay.

We had our family at this wonderful beach house (aunts, uncles, kids, niece and nephew) and it was wonderful. It is as beautiful as the picture. We liked the upstairs/downstairs configuration as it gave two couples a separate floor and bathroom. We'll be coming back!

My family and I had a wonderful time. This was a great beach house to stay at. I didn't want to leave. Its in the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. This was a newly renovated rental and they did a great job with the design and paid great attention to details. My only issue that since it was so new, it didn't have all the left over spices and seasonings from previous guest. No big deal though, the markets are close by and there were a lot of good restaurants to try. The walk to the beach isn't to bad if your just pleasurably walking, but for me dragging a wagon full of items back and forth for the wife and kid can get tiring.
To many pros to list and the cons are so unimportant. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again for another family get away.

My family and I stayed in this lovely home right on Hollywood Beach. The beach was huge and wide and we had great views from the home. The home was very clean and check in was easy. Our teen aged boys especially enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. The kitchen was well equipped to cook in. Beautiful, renovated, well-decorated, and clean beach house, with the best location right on the sand at the end of a cul-de-sac. We were beyond happy with this rental and it was perfect for our 2 families. Any small issues were immediately resolved by the management company, who was quick to respond via text/phone call and always very friendly. This house was very well stocked and well maintained and we look forward to another vacation here in the future! Thank you to the home owners for allowing us to enjoy this home and beach vacation, and to the management company for making sure we had a seamless and comfortable stay.

This house is so pretty, comfortable and clean. The beach view was unbeatable. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out together, but plenty of room for people to get some down-time. We got a lot of use out of the cool garage chess board and the air hockey/ping pong table! Lovely setup for school-age kids. Nice touches some rentals forget like plenty of fans, extra blankets, and enough cookware and glassware for an actual group! We felt extremely welcome here!

We had a wonderful time; the beach is right outside your back door. The kids could play in the sand while we sat on the patio. The house has a good set up, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Kids loved the games in the garage.

I used to live in Oxnard for about 9 months so I already knew the natural beauty of the area.

This house is stunning, and the large couch shown in the picture is perfect to hang out with your entire family and friends

The kitchen table (also shown) accommodates a ton of people and there was so much fun we had eating and drinking as we heard the waves crashing and smelled the ocean air coming in from the balcony

We were 8 friends looking for the perfect spot to retreat from life for a weekend of fun, laughter, and relaxation- Beauty and the Beach was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of space to lay around and talk, it was glorious to be on the beach, beds were comfy, kitchen well-stocked.
We loved every minute together and appreciate being hosted so thoughtfully!!

Great location and spacious home. Amenities such as bikes, chairs and beach toys were excellent. Bath towels and beach towels were not acceptable in quantity and condition. Master shower is stained and dirty and the drain backed up during the shower making it unusable during the stay.

This was a wonderful property whose location really can't be beat. We basically checked in and never left! We had everything we could possibly need and enjoyed a very relaxing family getaway spending endless hours playing in the surf and sand. We wrapped up our day by lounging on the deck and watching the gorgeous sunset.

This is a beautiful, modern, peaceful, quiet get-away. The pictures depict exactly how the house looks. It was very clean upon arrival. There were minor issues in terms of the general condition - slider downstairs very difficult to open; master bath sink backs-up; BBQ not clean and/or needs replacing. Otherwise it was simply magnificient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

First the positives, we loved staying at the beach, our location couldn't have been better. When we arrived we found a filthy bar-b-que. I called the office and the next morning we had a brand new one. I was very impressed. I was told that the unit would be cleaned on Friday and I was lucky that instead of being empty for 24 hours my rental would be empty for 48 hours. We arrived at 2:50 ten minutes before our 3pm check in to find the maid just finishing up. Towels in the dryer not ready until the next day. I was told that a professional cleaning crew would clean the house form top to bottom for covid.I had to scrub all the pots that I used as they were filthy and the kitchen mat was also filthy. Believe me I left the house much cleaner than I got it. The pictures of the house showed it with accessories and the furniture looked clean and pristine and the beds looked like they had lovely pressed sheets, not so at all. I will say that once I accepted the fact that nothing was as presented we did have a beautiful weather and it was nice to have a change of scene. At over $800 a day I expected to have what the picture and my questioning promised.

My family and I had a wonderful time. This was a great beach house to stay at. I didn't want to leave. Its in the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. This was a newly renovated rental and they did a great job with the design and paid great attention to details. My only issue that since it was so new, it didn't have all the left over spices and seasonings from previous guest. No big deal though, the markets are close by and there were a lot of good restaurants to try. The walk to the beach isn't to bad if your just pleasurably walking, but for me dragging a wagon full of items back and forth for the wife and kid can get tiring.
To many pros to list and the cons are so unimportant. I will definitely be coming back to stay here again for another family get away.

Really enjoyed our stay at the beach. The house is in a great location and comes pretty well appointed new owners/renters that have a real interest in satisfying The customers Enjoy this clip mobile perfume the fact that many items were labeled and there was a multitude of beach towels ! Had some problems with the air conditioner not working all week but they did send a repair man twice and then the owner offered a partial refund Beds were very comfortable and the accommodations were quite nice. The owners are very reasonable and nice people that seem to actually care about your experience

The living room features two comfy couches. One of the couches transforms into an added sleeping space. To finish off the space, enjoy the luxury of a Flat Screen HDTV.
