We could tell from the photos that the house was going to be dated and a little funky, and it was. That said, it was about $200 to $400 less per night than the fancy remolded houses right on the beach that we've stayed in before. If you're okay with wacky (mirrored walls and glass bathroom doors), but clean and right on the beach, then this place is for you! If you're bougie and have high expectations, skip. It was perfect for us and our 5 kids. The management company is great. Very communicative and accommodating.

This property hit the most important points. The location and beach access were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces big enough for the whole family. The management team was impressively responsive. There were also enough towels which is not always the case in vacation homes. A couple of things to note- the futon is only big enough for a child and when we laid it flat had some sand in it... it’s a beach house though, there’s going to sand. There are a lot of stairs so if there are people in your group where that is a concern that is something to be aware of. My biggest concern was that the upstairs deck was not kid safe. The horizontal railing had about a foot of space between the next rail and the vertical railings were very far apart. We just had a rule where there had to be an adult out there whenever kids wanted to go out. Finding outlets in the bedrooms was a big challenge. Also there was a real lack of overhead lighting. The decor is pretty dated which doesn’t bother me but if that is important to you is something to know.

An extra, a futon in an extra TV room. 8 smart TVs, 2 wet-bars up and downstairs find 2 fireplaces, dining for 12, and a large kitchen w/ 2 microwaves. Huge upstairs room with leather sectional and 3 couches to enjoy big screen tv and amazing views that will spoil you. The balcony that goes across the entire oceanfront and even better, in case you want privacy and want to hide, you'll have a tv in every room with streaming, HBO, and movies to watch. Perfect place to fly your kites and play games and puzzles and read and just love life with your feet in the sand. And if you have any wishes for the future when you come, we'll be happy to accommodate you. Washer and dryer in the garage and parking galore with a huge driveway! Or spend a day relaxing in the shade under the terrace, complete with a patio table and chairs. The two bedrooms have spacious closets and large windows. Find wood like flooring throughout the bedrooms and living room, and tile flooring in the kitchen. Centrally located! Walking distance to so many shops nearby and just a few minutes drive from the Pacific View Mall, downtown and nearby beaches. This beautiful home is the perfect way to experience everything Ventura has to offer! Monthly rental only, 30 day minimum. NO pets, no exceptions. This beach cottage is absolutely adorable and perfect for a beach getaway! The location is fantastic. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was good and check in and out were both very easy. The only improvement needed is comfortable beds - the mattresses were very loud and uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well at all. I’ve already let management know. If the mattresses improve, we would stay again for sure - everything else was fabulous for our beach vacation!

Our stay on Sunset Lane in Oxnard was absolutely wonderful. The house was perfect for our family of five. There are shops and restaurants close by. Working with Courtney for all the house needs was a breeze. The absolute best part was the proximity to the beach, can't beat that anywhere. We are already looking into dates when we can go back, but this time for longer.

Sweet little cottage right around the corner from the beach! Perfect place for our home base after days of hiking. Close to restaurants and shops. Wish I could pick it up and put it on a lake closer to home. ��

This cute beach house fit our family of 5 perfectly. The location is wonderful (super short/easy walk to beach and a great cafe around the corner for breakfast or lunch.) Not a ton of space to hang out together in the living room, but it was ok as the bedrooms are spacious and all have TV's.

This home was clean and very close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a washer and dryer available. The beach was right around the corner.

Sweet little cottage right around the corner from the beach! Perfect place for our home base after days of hiking. Close to restaurants and shops. Wish I could pick it up and put it on a lake closer to home.

Welcome Home to Your Spanish-Style Beach Bungalow! Beachfront furnished home located in the desirable Silverstrand Beach community. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home sits in a prime mid-beach location and offers a spacious patio/courtyard—perfect for soaking up the sun and relaxing. The home features unique tile throughout, beautiful light fixtures, and an original wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The kitchen boasts custom tile, white built-in cabinetry, and access to the side yard. The living space is furnished with a comfortable sofa, leather club chairs, a reading chair, television, and French doors that lead to your nicely appointed courtyard. The living room flows into the dining area, which includes a large wooden dining table. Just off the dining area is the guest bathroom. The main bedroom includes a king-size bed, reading chair, television, and a private entrance that opens directly onto your courtyard and the sand. The en-suite bathroom features a large soaking tub. The guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed, a beautiful armoire, and a television. The garage is stocked with two beach cruisers for your leisure, boogie boards, sand toys, and four beach chairs. All reservations of 30 nights or longer must be booked over the phone. An online application is required, including a credit and background check. Any reservation for 30 nights or longer may be subject to a price change. Pricing varies between summer and winter months. A cleaning fee, booking fee, and monthly utility fee will apply. A security deposit equal to or greater than one month’s rent is required, as well as proof of renter’s insurance. Please note: this property does not have A/C Monthly rental prices are subject to change based on the season. I live nearby but always wanted to stay in a home on the sand. We rented this for a family gathering and it was perfect--a dream come true. We sat at the windows and watched dolphins and sea lions surfing. We played in the sand and walked the beach. The house is incredible--a combination of comfortable, homey, well furnished but also immaculate. The kitchen is as well furnished as you would have at home. The floor plan is really unique with the first floor being private with two bedrooms a bathroom and laundry, the second floor dedicated to shared space: kitchen dining and two separate sitting areas, then the third floor is divided so the massive master suite is totally private and theres another totally private bedroom accessed by a separate stairway. This was perfect for us hosting our adult kids and grand kids. The rental company was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this place!

One of the best trips! We rented this property for a girls trip! Property is absolutely perfect layout. Beds were so comfortable and we loved the linens. House had all the beach stuff to go out on the sand. We slept with the windows wide open to hear the ocean every night. Home has Sonos so we listened to our own music as we cooked and got ready to go out. Each night we had the most spectacular sunsets. Definitely will be back!

Such a beautiful home and location. Exactly what we wanted. THEN, a pipe burst and we had to leave and find a new location (Day2 morning). We understand plumbing issues will happen but we were so disappointed to have to leave (and huge hassle-dealing with plumbers/water restoration teams, finding new place, moving all groceries and unpacked items). Mgmt. company did what they could to accommodate us, but the other location just wasn't the same. Hard to rate satisfaction-Because again the house is fantastic and they did what they could.

Home has Sonos so we listened to our own music as we cooked and got ready to go out. Each night we had the most spectacular sunsets. Definitely will be back!

Such a beautiful home and location. Exactly what we wanted. THEN, a pipe burst and we had to leave and find a new location (Day2 morning). We understand plumbing issues will happen but we were so disappointed to have to leave (and huge hassle-dealing with plumbers/water restoration teams, finding new place, moving all groceries and unpacked items). Mgmt. company did what they could to accommodate us, but the other location just wasn't the same. Hard to rate satisfaction-Because again the house is fantastic and they did what they could.

We appreciate your patience during that difficult time and we understand how frustrating it was to have to deal with vendors and switching homes in the middle of your stay. We have since fixed the plumbing issues and hope you can stay there again in the future.
