Island View Beach House is located in beautiful Hollywood Beach, often described as a Southern California Coastal hidden gem. The vacation home is right in the heart of a friendly, laid back neighborhood. Located 100 yards from the beach on the corner of Sunset and La Brea with expansive views of the ocean, islands, and mountains.
The spacious master bedroom on the first floor has a Select Comfort Sleep Number queen size bed with a memory foam. The room also has a smart TV, lots of storage space and a walk-in closet. A sliding glass door leads to a private patio. The bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a jetted tub.
There is a utility room on the first floor which contains a washer, dryer and additional storage.
The 2nd floor has an open living concept that combines the kitchen, dining, and living room.
The kitchen has a view of Anacapa Island as well as the breaking waves where you can watch the surfers.
The kitchen consists of modern appliances including an Advantium oven, gas cooktop, gas convection oven, instant pot, and Cuisinart emersion blender.
Soft water for your laundry and showers as well as a reverse osmosis provides delicious drinking water.
There are 2 indoor dinning areas. A dining table which can expand to seat 6 people and a bar counter top that seats 4.
One of our favorite features of this house is the outdoor balcony near the kitchen with seating for 4 where you can enjoy morning coffee or happy hour with beach views, ocean views and island views.
The living room has a Smart TV with Roku installed to allow access to your favorite streaming apps. (Netflix, Prime video, Hulu, Disney, etc.…) There are also multiple free apps available including Pluto, Tubi, YouTube, ABC, NBC etc.…
The living room has “Lazy Boy” adjustable sofa, loveseat and single recliners. A pullout queen bed is also available.
The 2nd floor has a full bath with 2 sinks.
The spare room has a built-in closet and ceiling fan
The second bedroom has a full-size bed and an office desk and chair. It also has a smart TV with Roku. A sliding glass door leads to the stairs and a large rooftop open air lounge.
The rooftop lounge offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and peak a boo views of the ocean, beach and islands. It features Ricker cushion patio set, lounge chairs and coffee table. You can hear the seals barking and waves breaking.
An outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
It is common for our Hollywood Beach neighbors to the garage and or driveway as an outdoor patio. Table, chairs, full size refrigerator and a BBQ are located in the garage for your use.
Beach toys are available for your use, surfboard, boogie board, beach tent, umbrellas, chairs and a cart to transport everything you need to the beach.
Nearby features:
The Channel Island Harbor hosts a farmer's market on Sunday.
Local bars and restaurants within walking distance and feature seafood, pizza and barbeque, Brazilian, Japanese food overlooking the harbor.
Fishing charters, jet ski rental, stand up paddle board rental, kayak rental, small boat rental, whale watching and bicycle rentals are also available at the harbor.
Mandalay Bay Resort nearby features additional restaurants and entertainment.
Ventura, Santa Barbara, Malibu and Ojai are all nearby.

Our family of six had plenty of room in this comfortable rental that is just steps to the Beach. There is plenty of storage for all your needs. Amenities were extremely nice including beach accessories, bicycles in the garage. A big plus, parking for two vehicles. Enjoyed that we could walk to restaurants like Hollywood Beach Cafe, which is amazing. We also enjoyed dinner at Waterside, breakfast at Mrs. Olson's and drinks at Honey Cup Coffeehouse. It was a short drive to visit Mission Basilica San Buenaventura and the shopping on Main St. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again in the future. The only negative - there could have been more quality bath towels.

The condo is beautiful and we'll appointed. We had a carbon monoxide detector needing replacement first nite there and management company wanted us to go out at night and find batteries. Door to patio sticks and mgmt company wanted us to hang out for repairs. No trash receptacle and mgmt insisted it was there. Actually messaged me to debate about it. Made our stay stressful. We also had to take care of laundry that had been left in the machines up on our arrival

The property description was very accurate. The house was clean but did have a musty odor down stairs the first day we got there. I believe this was due to the front loader washer being closed. After a few times of running it the smell went away. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

What a beautiful place they have, very clean, organize and so close to the beach.
Really enjoyed my walks on the beach, Neighbors are so nice. Forgot it was in the
Foggy times, but it was wonderful . I so needed that.

We have stayed at this location two years in a row and plan to do it every year. Outstanding location, just steps to the beach. The property is very clean, well kept, and has ample space. The outdoor balcony with seats is the best part. We ate every meal on the balcony, with an ocean view!!! Excellent stay.
