The property was lovely and we had a wonderful time!
This property was clean and cozy. We had a blast taking out the duffy boat and seeing everything on the Marina ( including other boats) decorated for the 4th of July holiday.
We were a little skeptical about renting a house during this Covid 19 era, but when my friend who also stayed there previously assured me about cleaness and neatness about the house we were convinced. It's a well maintained and tastefully decorated house which sits right on the channel. We enjoyed the balcony, the duffy and the quietness of the area a lot. There's a garage but no direct access from the house but the house is on a cul de sac type of street so there wasn't much traffic. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.
I think this is the sixth time I have stayed at the house on Gateshead Bay out of three different homes I have stayed at in the past and it’s my favorite. Katelyn and Kelly are the best. Best week of the year!
we loved our week here. The house was clean and had all the amenities you would need. Especially enjoyed taking the boat out each evening to cruise around the marina. Would highly recommend!
Great location and great place to stay
This is the sixth time I have rented a vacation home in Channel Islands from Remax and it was the fourth time I stayed at the house off Gateshead Bay and I had a wonderful time like always. Can’t wait to come back.
I really enjoyed the location of this house and access to the Duffy boat. The houses amenities were acceptable-plenty of linens but skimpy cooking utensils. Bathrooms were redone & nice but kitchen was very tired. Worse thing was the sliding doors were corroded & could barely be opened. Also lack of screens allowed insects & a hermit crab to find there way in. Overall, house was above average.
Our two months in Oxnard on Gateshead Bay were truly wonderful. Enjoyed the location, the weather, the people the opportunities for learning classes and for exercise classes. Counting the days until we can return.
