Nice place in good condition. Closer to the water than other houses we've rented on this street. The dunes were nice for the kids to play on and the "calm beach" near the marina inlet was ideal for the kids to swim. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. kitchen was small-ish but sufficient. Newer bbq. Lots of bikes, umbrellas, chairs and sand toys (boogy boards were broken). Back patio was convenient. We will certainly consider this for any future vacations.
Our family just returned from a week at Hollywood Beach in Oxnard. We have been going there for 30+ years and this year was our best trip ever due largely to our stay at Mollies on the Beach. The house is perfectly located at the edge of the sand on a very quiet beach. It has the feel of of a newly remodeled and upgraded home while maintaining the exterior vibe of having been built in 50s or 60s, which we love. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are abundant. Bikes, sand toys, kites, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels are everywhere and begging to be used. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, dishes, and pans need to make any meal you choose. Mollies surpassed our expectations and is a place our family can see returning tonight again and again for another 30 years.
Our overall stay was excellent. We would love to stay there again! So many great memories! Thank you!

We booked this house so our family of 10 could celebrate a birthday and a wedding anniversary together under one roof. We had seven adults, one teenager, and two-3-year-olds. The house was perfectly set up to handle our crowd. There were toys for the toddlers and awesome views and comfort for the rest of us. There were beach chairs and toys, as well as several bikes in the garage. The kitchen was well set up to prepare all our meals. The location is perfect. It is a few minutes walk to the Oxnard Marina with restaurants and coffee shops and a small convenience store for the last minute odd or end. Mollies by the Sea is a perfect vacation place for families. The management company was extremely responsive with every text and email I sent.
Mollies is a great location on the beach. The house is spacious and held 8 of us very comfortably. The view is fantastic for watching boats, walkers, and sunsets. The house is a bit dated and could use new mattresses in twin rooms but king and queen beds were comfortable.

What a wonderful place for us to relax and visit with each other. The house is great with plenty of room and space for everyone and the view is beautiful. Close to Santa Barbara, wineries and Ojai. I highly recommend this house for any occasion. .
