The villa is small but very well layed out with a nice porch in front for morning coffee or evening relaxation. There is also a very very nice shaded area in the rear that turned out to be a treasure after a sunny day at the beach.

Such a wonderful relaxing time! We loved this hidden gem at Hollywood Beach! This cute little house is right on the beach which allowed us to enjoy morning coffee on the deck, beautiful sunsets and walks on the almost empty beach and also along the harbor which is right across the street. The size was just perfect for my husband and me, we loved the privacy of the fenced yard, and it was also one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Looking forward to staying here again. Wishing it was tomorrow! 🙂

This was our second stay in the little Ca'Sea'Ta on the Sand, and it definitely won't be our last! We grew up in the area, and are vacation rental hosts ourselves, so have pretty high standards in vacation rentals. We usually escape to Oxnard at least twice a year to decompress, and out of the dozens of rentals we have stayed in Hollywood Beach and the Strand, this has definitely become our favorite! It's not the biggest or fanciest of the rentals we've been blessed to enjoy, but the location, vibe and TLC poured into it are exactly the perfect fit for relaxation, making it our new favorite! It is clean, well stocked, comfortable, ADORABLE, and perfect for a quiet getaway. And those HUGE picture windows out onto the beach in the livingroom and kitchen!!! It doesn't get much better! …EXCEPT for sitting in a sunny yellow adirondack chair staring at the ocean, with the lull of seagulls and crashing waves and a steamy hot cup of morning coffee!More practically speaking, the bed is a little too firm for us, but my hubby and I are willing to sacrifice a little sleep, because we have the whole rest of the day to relax in this amazing little place. And. beds really are such a personal preference, so no shade on the firm bed. Also, I did notice that they had replaced a few things that had seemed to be wearing out when we stayed a few months back due to the corrosive sea air, so the PM does listen to feedback and take care of it promptly. We notice new outdoor shower faucets and cafe lights, a new Keurig, and that they had replaced the gas grill outside. On that subject of property managers, we have been renting directly through ReMax Gold Coast for several years now, and have always found them to be fantastic to deal with… kind, friendly and professional! We will happily continue to rent properties through them in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The home was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing, with a beautiful beach atmosphere. We loved hearing the ocean and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything we needed was provided, including cleaning supplies and necessities, which made our stay so easy and convenient. The house felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The pet-friendly environment was a huge plus and made our trip even more special because we could enjoy the vacation with our dogs too. It was the perfect place to unwind and make beautiful memories. We would definitely love to come back again ��❤️

Hollywood Beach in Oxford, California has the feel of childhood summer vacations at a beach home. The house is adorable. The beach is massive, empty with the most gorgeous sunsets. You feel like you’re at the end of the world but at the same time you have access to everything you could possibly want in a cosmopolitan city. The house is very clean, kitchen and bathroom spotless. The first night we got locked out. It was a little frustrating because we had to talk to four different people to get help. However, every single person was lovely and they came and replaced the lock within an hour. The microwave broke the next morning and they came and replaced that extremely quickly also. The kitchen and the bathroom are newly renovated and gorgeous. There were so many thick fluffy towels. It felt very luxurious if you go during the summer, I would ask if they have air conditioning. When we were there, it was cold so we didn’t need it. They do have heat, however. We would highly recommend this serene beach home.

My husband had no idea what to expect from me. He had barely walked in the front door and had already fallen in love with the property. He was very smart to bring a couple of fishing poles w/him. Although we had grown up just a mile from the beach in Santa Monica and he currently fishes out of Channel Islands Harbor (some of his best memories w/our daughter who is currently living in the Eastern Sierras). We were able to bring "man's best friend" (our dog, Skynyrd). He, too loved the beach and the outdoor yard area! I have the most incredible picture of him lying on the floor next to me on the bed! We hope to make this a regular visit being that it is only 40 minutes away and just minutes away from his mom.

This place makes the most of every inch—super smart layout and great use of outdoor space too. Right on the sand and an easy walk to restaurants and the farmers market. Total hidden gem—we loved it!

We have been vacationing on Hollywood Beach for two decades. We love the laid-back, unpretentious vibe of the area. The beach is quiet, and you feel like you're on vacation, although not too isolated because there are businesses within walking distance. I especially enjoy taking a morning stroll over to Honey Cup Coffeehouse. Usually we rent a much larger house to fit the entire family, but this time it was just four of us. The Ca "sea" ta on the Sand is the perfect spot for a couple or small family. Bonus: this property allows pets, so we were able to take our small dog. Truly, it had everything we needed for a relaxing few days at the beach. The kitchen is very small, but it has the essentials, including a coffee maker and blender. Everything was clean and well-organized. If you've never stayed at this beach, just be aware that the walk to the water from the houses is a bit of a distance; I only mention because my elderly parents could not make it that far, although they still enjoyed the view sitting right outside the house. The outdoor space is lovely, with Adirondack chairs facing the ocean and a spacious side patio with a picnic bench. We had access to beach towels and beach chairs as well as boogie boards. There is a washer/dryer in the garage if you need to do laundry. Communication with Remax Gold Coast is always easy. They respond quickly to any questions. We are already talking about returning to this property for another stay.
