Welcome to Gigi’s Beach House! This two-story Spanish style home is located in Mandalay Shores, just a few minutes walk to the family friendly Mandalay Beach. The beach has a cute playground for kids, a basketball court and volleyball nets all waiting for you to enjoy. The house is also located down the street from Oxnard Beach Park which is a fantastic park to fly kites and for the kids to play on the Pirate Ship playground.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, bedroom #2 has a queen, and bedroom #3 has a trundle bed w/ two twins. There is also a queen sized sleeper sofa (with upgraded memory foam mattress) located in the front living room. All bedrooms are on the first floor of this home. All bedrooms include a TV and the main living room also has a TV. (Cable included on 3 of the 4 TVs, streaming available an all 4 TVs.)
Relax and enjoy your time in this spacious home. Enjoy grilling on the upper deck, relaxing in the jacuzzi and making s’mores around the fire pit on the front patio. There are games included in the game cabinet for you to enjoy as well.
The kitchen is spacious and has just about everything you’ll need including a coffee pot, waffle maker, electric griddle, toaster, etc.
The house is fully equipped with all the beach gear you will need including beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, beach towels, boogie boards and ice chests! Additionally, the home has an outdoor shower which makes beach clean-up super easy, especially for kiddos!
The house is pet friendly and has a fully fenced yard.
Washer and dryer located in the garage.

Gigi's Beach House has lovely large living spaces and a well-stocked kitchen and lots of linens and towels. We appreciated the many toys/games; however, many of them were missing pieces or broken. It was also nice to have a bath tub with jets but they didn't work and the hot tub jets worked for about 2 minutes only. The contract we had to sign was extremely forbidding and threatening and really created a feeling of anxiety throughout the vacation because we worried about doing something wrong and anticipated all of the tasks required for check out, at the threat of losing our (large) security deposit. The contract was very one-sided and the tone was not at all welcoming, although the people we spoke with were very pleasant.

The location on the house was perfect; The beach was a very, very short walk! The tricky part was the layout of the house. The bedrooms are downstairs and the kitchen/living room are upstairs, which made things a bit tricky for Grandma when she arrived as well as having to haul groceries upstairs... but other than that, I would love to come back one day!

We’ve been coming to Oxnard (Hollywood Beach) every year for the past 18 years and this year was the first time we stayed on the Mandalay side. Despite it being further away from our extended family at Hollywood Beach, it was worth it. A big plus was having two large living spaces upstairs, 2 separate balconies, backyard, and a front porch sitting area with fire pit. There was plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub too. Another plus was the fact that all the floors are tile or hardwood instead of nasty carpet. The house is bigger than it looks and the bedrooms are pretty big- especially the master bedroom and bath. Other pluses was the modern appliances, washer and dryer and lots of beach towels to use. The one miss was the BBQ- it was coated in grease and the brush. We went out to buy a new brush to clean it for use which in the grand scheme of things was not a big deal.

Very beautiful home, well-stocked, peaceful, and minutes from the shore. Only negative was the ants in the property.

We had a great time and Gigi’s house. The house was well stocked and we found everything we needed. Internet was good enough for both my husband and I to work while kids did remote schooling. House was super roomy and we were able to spread out and relax.

The house had everything we needed to cook. Towels, etc. It did have ants in the kitchen and the beds were not very comfortable. Great place for our dogs to roam in backyard. Overall nice.

Thank you for staying with us! Hope to see you back soon! We do have a pest vendor as the majority of the homes at the beach have ant visitors.... Next time, please call us immediately as we have a full staff 7 days a week who could have handled it right away. As far as the beds they are brand new. I am sorry you did not find them comfortable.
Ask REMAX for contract to review BEFORE you book as the booking process does not agree with contract language. Especially, if you’re staying within the non cancellation window.
House was good for our needs and we’d stay again, but not with REMAX as manager. They recognized the their error (after I sent them screen shots and multiple messages) but would not make it right.
